The MUMBAI PRESS CLUB in association with INTERNATIONAL DRONE TRAINING INSTITUTE held a workshop on DRONE JOURNALISM.

The IDTI team led by Suraj Salimath made a power-point presentation and gave practical aspects of drone flying. The faculty also spoke about the regulatory aspects and guidelines vis-a-vis drones in India.

An exciting live demonstration was also conducted to teach members of the finer details of drone flying.

In fact, drones are being used as journalism tool in a small way since 2011, but the emerging trends show that it is going to play an important role in future. Drones are much more than just getting aerial shots.
