Mumbai Press Club and IIFL Ltd are once again proud and happy to announce the schedule for the 16th photo calendar contest – Mumbai Moments 2018 – for our members. For the past 15 years, Mumbai Press Club has been bringing out a year-end calendar branded 'Mumbai Moments', which captures the best and the worst of this pulsating city. The concept has been a big hit and featured in foreign media, too.
 
The photo calendar contest 2018 is also is meant to capture the memorable moments that Mumbai experienced between December 1, 2016 to till date. 

The broad guidelines for the contest are:
1.        The contest is open only for the members of the Mumbai Press Club.

2.        The photo calendar is meant to showcase Mumbai's indomitable spirit (MMRDA Region only) and hence gory and disturbing images should be avoided.

3.        Participating members are allowed to submit a maximum of 13 images each for the contest to ensure only the best images vie with each other. Those entries with over 13 images are disqualified from the contest.

4.        Since the judging is a computerized process, members must submit their images only in JPEG format with a minimum 300 dpi resolution.

5.        The size of each image should be within 800 kb to 2 mb range.

6.        The calendar each year has a page carrying a short introduction and photograph of the winners. Therefore, members are requested to send their brief bio-data and passport-size photographs along with their entries.

7.        The last date for the entry is November 24, 2017. Any entry received subsequent to the deadline will not be entertained.

8.        Photo should not contain the name of the photographer or name of the publication, but caption is must.

9.        Entries containing a passport size photograph of the contestant, brief profile not exceeding 100 words and 13 best images should be sent only through e-mail at mumbaimoments@pressclubmumbai.com

 A panel of three judges will soon be announced. The 13 winners will take home a certificate, trophy and a cash prize when the calendar is formally released in December.
